Job description

Are you a passionate Senior Front-End Engineer who excels at designing and architecting scalable, mission-critical user interfaces? We are looking for an expert to join our team to lead the development of responsive web applications and data-dense dashboards, driving innovation in high-reliability domains.

The position is full-time, based in Athens, operating under a hybrid work model.

key responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain responsive, mission-critical web application interfaces using React.
  • Build reusable, modular components and design systems to ensure code reusability, maintainability, and scalability.
  • Translate UI/UX designs and wireframes into high-quality, pixel-perfect, and accessible interfaces.
  • Integrate with RESTful APIs and back-end services, ensuring efficient data flow and robust error handling.
  • Optimize application performance and rendering efficiency across different browsers and devices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex requirements into robust technical solutions.
  • Lead code reviews, enforce high code quality, and mentor team members on best practices.
  • Take full ownership of features from conception through deployment, ensuring reliability, performance, and security.

5+ years of experience as a Front End Developer

qualifications
  • Degree in Computer Science or other relevant disciplines.
  • At least 5+ years of proven front-end development experience, ideally building production-grade, mission-critical interfaces.
  • Strong experience in designing and architecting scalable front-end systems (component libraries or modular architectures).
  • Expertise in automated testing strategies (e.g., Cypress, Playwright) across the testing pyramid.
  • Deep understanding of design patterns, performance optimization, and secure coding practices.
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to identify architectural improvements and mentor junior engineers.
  • Excellent command of the English language (written & verbal).
  • Ability to communicate complex technical ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with WebSockets or other real-time tracking and visualization technologies.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and front-end build tooling (e.g., Webpack).
  • Experience with code quality and static analysis tools like SonarQube.
