We are seeking a detail-oriented, member-focused Consumer Lending Processor to support the full consumer loan lifecycle, from application through funding and post-closing review. In this role, you will work closely with members, lending staff, and business partners to ensure an exceptional lending experience while maintaining compliance with all regulatory and credit union standards. Requirements
Consumer Loan Processing & Administration
  • Support consumer lending operations by processing loan applications and assisting with closing and post-closing activities.
  • Calculate funding amounts, cash disbursements, and loan proceeds accurately.
  • Prepare loans for funding and ensure all documentation is complete and compliant.
Member Service & Lending Support
  • Serve as a trusted resource for members by providing information on consumer loan products, rates, terms, and collateral requirements.
  • Guide members through the application process and explain required documentation.
  • Deliver exceptional service through timely, professional communication both in person and over the phone.
Loan Review & Pre-Underwriting
  • Review loan applications and supporting documentation for completeness and accuracy.
  • Follow up with members and third parties to obtain missing information.
  • Analyze borrower financial information, credit history, income, and collateral details in accordance with established lending policies.
  • Prepare loan files for underwriting review and recommend appropriate loan terms and conditions.
Loan Closing & Funding
  • Prepare loan closing packages and coordinate loan closings.
  • Execute loan closings while ensuring all required documents are properly completed.
  • Support loan funding and settlement activities.
Quality Control & Compliance
  • Conduct quality reviews of consumer loans to ensure adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate loan records and identify potential documentation or compliance issues.
Product Knowledge & Continuous Learning
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of consumer lending products, policies, procedures, and industry trends.
  • Stay informed of changes impacting consumer lending and member service.
Regulatory Compliance & Training
  • Complete all required annual training programs, including:
    • Bank Secrecy Act (BSA)
    • Anti-Money Laundering (AML)
    • OFAC
    • Cybersecurity
    • Diversity & Inclusion
    • Anti-Harassment
    • Fair Lending
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable credit union policies and regulations.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Assist with special projects and departmental initiatives as assigned.
  • Provide administrative and operational support to Consumer Lending leadership.

Qualifications:
  • Three years to five years of similar or related experience.
  • A high school education or GED.
  • Interpersonal Skills

Pay: $26.63 per hour ($55,384 annually) to $33.28 per hour ($69,231 annually) depending on experience and qualifications.
