Java Developer
Chicago, IL (Locals Only)

  • Excellent analytical skills to quickly solve production issues
  • Strong development skills - ability to quickly analyze issues, design solutions, develop, and deploy Java web and batch applications
  • Excellent communication skills - we will be working from home for the foreseeable future and the candidate must be able to communicate well (be able to ask good questions in a timely manner to prevent blockers and understand responses)
  • Team player - understands collaboration and the need for processes such as code reviews
  • Self-starter - Can find the answers to problems thru research and is not afraid to ask questions
  • Ability to work with product owners and business partners to understand why changes are being made in order to design the best solution
  • Experience developing in AWS for high availability
  • Agile experience
