Working with minimal supervision, the candidate offers specialized expertise across various systems and software fields, while also possessing broad knowledge of related areas, application impacts, and customer requirements. - Responsible for in-depth analysis and technical support for systems software products, including complex problem resolution, design, development, testing, operational integration, and user support
- Works from specifications to develop or modify operating system applications
- Assists with the design, coding, benchmark testing, debugging, and documentation of programs
- Interfaces with other system support groups to resolve problems, set standards, and improve the operating system's overall efficiency
