Job Summary:
ShiftCode Analytics, Inc. is seeking a Senior Build Engineer with strong Azure DevOps experience to design, implement, and maintain enterprise-grade CI/CD pipelines in a hybrid cloud environment. This role focuses on build automation, pipeline reliability, and integration across Azure and on-prem systems while supporting both Java and .NET technology stacks.
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines (YAML and classic)
• Implement and optimize enterprise build pipelines for Java and .NET applications
• Maintain build tools including Maven, Gradle, and MSBuild
• Troubleshoot and resolve build, dependency, and deployment issues
• Administer Azure Repos and GitHub repositories
• Define and enforce branching strategies, PR policies, and versioning standards
• Integrate SonarQube for code quality and static analysis
• Manage artifact versioning and promotion strategies
• Manage and maintain Nexus or Artifactory repositories
• Implement dependency governance and artifact lifecycle management
• Ensure secure and repeatable builds across environments
• Support deployments across Azure and on-prem environments
• Provision and manage infrastructure using ARM templates and Terraform
• Configure and maintain Windows and Linux build agents
• Collaborate with infrastructure and operations teams on hybrid integrations
• Integrate security scanning into build pipelines
• Manage secrets and credentials securely
• Ensure CI/CD processes comply with enterprise security and audit standards
• Develop automation using PowerShell, Bash, and Python

Qualifications:
Required:
• 5+ years of experience in Build Engineering, DevOps, or CI/CD
• 5+ years of Strong hands-on experience with Azure DevOps
• Expertise in Java and/or .NET build systems
• Experience with Maven, Gradle, MSBuild
• Hands-on experience with Nexus or Artifactory
• Proficiency in Git and branching strategies
• Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python)
• Experience supporting hybrid cloud environments
Preferred:
