To thrive as a Junior Java Programmer, you need a solid understanding of Java programming, object-oriented concepts, and a relevant degree or coursework in computer science. Familiarity with development environments like Eclipse or IntelliJ IDEA, version control systems such as Git, and basic knowledge of databases are typically required.
