Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field, or equivalent years of related work experience required

Work Experiences:

  • 4-7+ years of proven experience building sophisticated applications and APIs in cloud and hybrid cloud environments at large scale, preferably in Java and React JS.
  • 4-7+ years of strong background in object-oriented design principles and design patterns.
  • 3+ years of experience in various technology platforms and frameworks, both front-end and back-end, that include JAVA, Spring Boot, React or Angular, /J2EE, Web Services (REST), Design Patterns, Microservices Architecture & Micro Frontends.
  • Experience with a 500+ million revenue e-commerce retailer preferred
  • Proven understanding of design patterns, reference architectures, industry standards, broad technical knowledge, and architectural principles is necessary
  • Design and develop solutions using Agile SDLC process
  • Ability to estimate the financial impact of technical architecture alternatives and apply multiple technical solutions to business problems is vital
  • Demonstrated ability to provide and recommend innovative ideas, with the skill to align projects with enterprise strategy, is needed
  • Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure, meet deadlines, present a professional demeanor, and work well independently is essential

Skills:

  • Expert Knowledge of Microservices Development using Spring Boot.
  • Expert knowledge building Responsive websites, Client-side scripting, Content Stack Systems using ReactJS, NodeJS, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, XML, JSON, and tools such as Babel, Gulp, Webpack, NPM, etc.
  • Expert knowledge of REST/Spring Boot Java Development, Pub/Sub Design Patterns, EAI, and API integration.
  • Expert knowledge of Google Cloud or AWS Cloud Technologies (As a compute and not a SAAS)
  • Expert Knowledge of SQL, Scripting languages, RDBMS, JavaScript, and the React framework.
  • An understanding of project management and the software development lifecycle is needed
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interface effectively with individuals at various levels, both internal and external
  • Analytical, with strong problem-solving abilities and creative resolution skills
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to remain organized, pay strict attention to detail, and meet critical deadlines within a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • Ability to use key tools to dive deep and provide analysis consistently on performance metrics
  • Troubleshooting and organizational skills with a can-do attitude and the ability to adjust to changing requirements are necessary
  • Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git, Bitbucket
  • Ability to work in an Onshore/Offshore model
  • Strong Microsoft Office program experience, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain eCommerce features and integrations.
  • Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to technical design.
