We are looking for a Java Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based applications and services. In this role, you will be responsible for building reliable and high-performing systems using modern development practices and frameworks.
This role is highly collaborative, where you will partner with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions that align with business objectives.
As a Java Developer, you will anticipate technical challenges, ensure system reliability, and balance performance, scalability, and maintainability while working across evolving application environments.

Your role

. Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based applications and services following best coding practices.
. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using Core Java, Spring Boot, and related frameworks.
. Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and work within microservices architecture.
. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.
. Perform debugging, testing, and performance optimization to ensure application reliability and efficiency.
. Work with databases (SQL/NoSQL) ensuring secure and optimized data handling.
. Use version control tools such as Git for code management and collaboration.
. Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development practices.

Your skills and experience

. At least 7 years of strong proficiency in Core Java, Spring Boot, and related frameworks.
. Experience in developing RESTful APIs and working with microservices architecture.

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is $ 73,150 to $174,000

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.
