Job description

Solutions Engineer - Supply Chain/Supplier Planning Software - Winston Salem/Greensboro, NC
*Candidate must be able to work onsite 5 days a week and be onsite at the client location by day 1*
This assignment is anticipated to be a 12-month contract with strong potential for extension; however, Apex Systems cannot guarantee the length of this assignment.
This will also have a first shift Monday-Friday schedule.
Responsibilities:

  • Support a high-priority supply chain project by developing and configuring within the Maestro planning tool.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement enhancements and customizations in the Maestro solution.
  • Analyze planning and order data to optimize supplier coordination and delivery accuracy.
  • Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and manipulation from relational databases.
  • Develop scripts using Java and functional programming techniques to automate planning workflows.
  • Utilize Excel for advanced data modeling and scripting to support planning functions.
Experience:
  • Hands-on experience with development or configuration in the Maestro supplier planning platform.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex planning data.
  • Proficiency in SQL and working with relational databases.
  • Experience with Java scripting and functional programming concepts.
  • Familiarity with Excel-based programming and automation.

Required Skills : Hands-on experience developing and configuring in the (Kinaxis) Maestro supplier planning tool. Strong SQL experience and querying. Strong programming experience in Excel and databases (functional languages). Experience scripting in Java.
