About the role.

McCain is on an ambitious digital transformation journey, investing in data platforms, analytics, and technology to drive business growth and enhance customer experience. As a Senior Data Engineer, you will play a critical role in building scalable data pipelines and infrastructure that power analytics and machine learning initiatives. This role partners closely with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to enable data-driven decision-making across the organization.

What you'll be doing.
  • Design, build, and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines across multiple data sources
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and availability for analytics and business use cases
  • Collaborate with data architects to develop and optimize data models and storage solutions
  • Partner with data scientists and analysts to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Monitor and optimize performance of data systems to support scalability and future growth
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior data engineers
  • Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies to enhance data engineering capabilities
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for data systems and processes
What you'll need to be successful.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field

Compensation Package:$69,700.00 -$93,000.00 . CAD annually + Bonus Eligibility
