Senior Financial Analyst - JLL
What this job involves:
As a Senior Financial Analyst on our client finance team within Real Estate Management Services (REMS), you will serve as a strategic financial partner to operations teams, driving accuracy and insight across budgeting, forecasting, and monthly reporting cycles. This role combines hands-on financial analysis with process improvement opportunities, allowing you to directly impact client satisfaction and operational excellence. Working closely with facility managers, project teams, and senior leadership, you will translate complex financial data into actionable intelligence that shapes business decisions. Your expertise will ensure compliance with both JLL and client standards while identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and effectiveness across the financial planning and analysis function. This position offers the opportunity to work with sophisticated financial systems, lead high-impact projects, and develop your career within JLL's dynamic REMS environment.
What your day-to-day will look like:
  • Lead the creation and reporting of budgets and forecasts in collaboration with your manager and operations personnel, ensuring alignment with client requirements and business objectives.
  • Manage month-end and year-end close processes, preparing accurate financial reports that facilitate timely accounting close and support client decision-making.
  • Produce and analyze variance reports and performance metrics, partnering with business operations teams to identify trends, explain deviations, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Support Facility and Project Managers with monthly financial duties including invoice coding guidance and variance analysis, serving as a trusted financial resource.
  • Continuously improve FP&A processes and systems, identifying and implementing process re-engineering opportunities that enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Prepare comprehensive monthly financial reports for clients with precision and timeliness, while recommending enhancements to existing reporting frameworks.
  • Participate in special projects and ad hoc analyses as required by management or client needs, demonstrating flexibility and analytical rigor.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of progressive financial analysis experience, with demonstrated expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (complex formulas, pivot tables, macros) and PowerPoint for financial modeling and executive-level presentations.
  • Working knowledge of enterprise financial systems such as PeopleSoft, Hyperion Planning, JDE E1 Financials, or IBM TM1 Budget.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple work assignments simultaneously while maintaining exceptional attention to detail in a high-pressure environment.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial issues clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated commitment to compliance standards and internal controls, with experience supporting audit and review processes.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in commercial real estate, property management, or facility management financial analysis.
  • CPA, CMA, or progress toward relevant professional certification.
  • Previous experience working on client-facing finance teams or in shared services environments.
  • Familiarity with management fee and incentive fee calculation methodologies.
  • Experience leading process improvement initiatives or system implementations.
  • Knowledge of real estate management metrics and key performance indicators.
  • Ability to mentor junior team members and contribute to team development.

Estimated compensation for this position:
90,000.00 - 105,000.00 USD per year
This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
