Overview

Lutron is seeking a Supply Chain Engineering Intern to join a collaborative team and work on meaningful projects that help shape and optimize the global supply chain behind our smart lighting and shading products.

Supply Chain opportunities are available in multiple locations within the Lehigh Valley. These locations include ourCorporate Headquarters in Coopersburg, PA,our corporate office in Center Valley, PA, our production facility in Alburtis, PA, and our warehouse facility in Allentown, PA. 

Responsibilities

Your internship at Lutron could offer you the opportunity to work on: 

  • Exploring real life product cycles moving from concept to customer by supporting supply chain planning, materials flow, and real-world logistics problem solving.

  • Collaborating with teams across engineering, customer service, and manufacturing to understand how business decisions are made and help shape forecasts and operational plans.

  • Contributing to cross functional projects from reviewing supply chain designs to analyzing production performance while learning how global manufacturing networks operate at scale.

  • Driving active projects in partnership with crossfunctional teams

  • Learning and applying newly adopted tools and technologies to enhance system performance, reliability, and scalability 

Qualifications

We seek talented, success-minded people with the desire and ability to make things happen. Our baseline requirements are simple: 

  • You are pursuing Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Engineering, or related Engineering Discipline

  • Minimum cumulative GPA is at least 3.20

  • You are a rising junior, rising senior, or master's student at the start of theinternship

  • You have broad interests in supply chain design and development

  • You are authorized to work in the U.S. and will not require Lutron to sponsor you for any work visa, such as an H-1B, either immediately or at any time in the future. Lutron does not offer work visa sponsorship for this position.

  • Willingness and ability to work on-site 5 days per week
