Job description

The Java team at ABC-Groep is a group of young and dynamic developers working on challenging projects for leading clients. At ABC-Groep, we are looking for a passionate Medior Java Developer with expertise in both back-end and front-end technologies. You will work at the client's site or in the office and follow the process from start to finish. As a true team player, you will be a pillar of support for our Juniors and maintain close contact with the Senior Developers.

Profile
  • You work in a structured way and have a passion for clean code.
  • Coaching and mentoring Junior Developers do not intimidate you.
  • You possess an Agile mindset and are proficient in Scrum methodology.
  • With your know-how, you have adequate knowledge of Java, Java web technologies, Spring framework, and Spring Boot. You have knowledge of at least one of the following technologies: JPA, Hibernate, GWT, Vaadin, Wicket.
  • You engage in dialogue with Senior Developers and closely follow the latest technologies.
  • SQL holds no secrets for you.
  • You have sufficient knowledge in front-end development with Angular and/or React.
  • You play it safe and subject your code to thorough testing (JUnit).
  • When problems arise, you roll up your sleeves and actively work to resolve them. Open communication is the key to success.
  • You have experience in developing high-quality software projects.
  • You speak fluent Dutch and English.
  • Our Java developers like to capitalize on their knowledge. You hold the OCP (Oracle Certified Programmer) or are willing to obtain it within a realistic timeframe.
