Position Summary

The HVAC Instructor is responsible for delivering engaging classroom and laboratory instruction that prepares students for entry-level employment in the HVAC industry. This role combines hands-on training, student mentorship, and industry expertise to create an effective learning experience that promotes student success, retention, and career readiness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver hands-on HVAC instruction in classroom and lab settings
  • Teach HVAC concepts, systems, troubleshooting, installation, maintenance, and safety practices

Qualifications

Required

  • Minimum 3 years of professional HVAC industry experience
  • Relevant HVAC certifications, licenses, or credentials as required by state regulations and accreditation standards

  • Professionalism, reliability, and strong organizational skills
  • Commitment to student success and workforce development

Preferred

  • Previous teaching, training, coaching, mentoring, or workforce development experience

  • EPA certification and other industry-recognized HVAC credentials
