Job description

Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated individual with excellent quantitative skills for a junior-to-mid level scheduler position. Successful applicants will be required to possess the following qualifications:
Responsibilities
  • Individuals will perform a wide variety of schedule analysis duties for work performed at the Naval Surface Warfare Center - Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD)
  • Responsible for planning, developing, maintaining, analyzing and presenting integrated project schedules
  • Duties will include performing schedule risk assessments, analysis of schedule variance, evaluation of schedule progress against the plan, critical path analysis, and evaluation of contractor's written reports.
  • Work may also include schedule estimating, substantiation of confidence level generation, schedule/prediction analysis, performance measurement (earned value) and project forecasting.
  • Must be able to work closely with Government and contractor personnel to gather data and present schedule analysis
  • Familiarity with DoD development programs and processes is highly desired

Skills Required
  • Experience in schedule development, analysis, integration, and management, including milestones, tasks, durations, linkages, dependencies, and resources
  • Experience using Microsoft Project, Project Server, or similar schedule tools
  • Working knowledge of schedule management best practices such as critical path methodology, schedule quality, and schedule execution metrics
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite, and have strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Must be able to work autonomously as well as within a team/collaborative environment
  • Active DoD Secret clearance preferred; candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain a security clearance
  • Salary range: $55,000 - $88,000/Year, DOE/ Qualifications

Education
Bachelor's degree required, preferably in math, engineering, business, or the sciences.
