Job Summary: We are looking for a personable and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our multi-disciplined design team within our Brookhaven, MS or Gulfport, MS office, assisting the team on high profile hyperscale Data Center programs and many other mission critical nature projects around the country. This individual must be very familiar with state-of-the art design and various state and local regulations. There will be opportunities for both project technical leadership and mentorship of junior design staff every day.

Responsibilities:

  • Knowledge of electrical engineering principles in the field of building construction, especially in Mission Critical sectors including Data Centers and Defense projects
  • Capable of increasing technical competency through high level of care and work ethic
  • Effective communicator with owners, contractors, and other design professional partners
  • Ability to work well independently as part of a strong team
  • Technical mentorship with junior design staff and delegating tasks to complete work on time
  • Quality control of electrical engineering work products
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Technical lead on projects based on experience.
  • Performs engineering calculations and analysis using available software (i.e. Power Tools, ETAP, etc.)

Skills:

  • Experience with both Medium and low voltage power systems
  • Experience in implementing high resiliency designs for mission critical infrastructure projects
  • Proficient with Revit
  • Proficient written and oral communication skills essential for team-based projects
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills required for overlapping project schedules

Qualifications:

  • 7 to 12 Years Experience in Design/Consulting
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or similar ABET Accredited program
  • Registered Professional Engineering license required
  • Willing to Travel (<20%)
