Job Summary:
Thorndale Partners is seeking a Full Stack Java Developer to join their industry-leading organization. In this role, you will be a key contributor in the creation and management of company applications, collaborating with development teams and business managers to enhance features and resolve system issues.
Responsibilities:
• Craft web-based applications according to user specifications.
• Demonstrate the ability to transfer features from pre-existing applications to a Spring framework-driven application.
• Perform bug fixes (evaluation, design, code) on uncomplicated problems with limited assistance. Collaborate with colleagues to comprehend systems while performing root cause analysis, assessing new and existing code, and/or conducting unit testing.
• Should have the capability to compose SQL queries of varying intricacy to store/retrieve relevant information from the database.
• Develop system documentation/playbooks and attend requirements, design and code audits. Accept work packages from manager and/or delegate.
• Comprehend and assist in collecting and analyzing customer requirements and may react to application outages following the appropriate procedures.
• Adapt to and learn technology based on the requirements of the team/organization.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Completion of a Bachelor's program in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field OR an additional four years of related experience in place of a degree. Bootcamp training, when coupled with relevant experience, will be considered.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in software engineering/development utilizing Java, with exposure to Web Services (REST), Spring Framework, JSF or other similar frameworks.
• 3+ years of involvement with SQL, HTML, CSS, and Java Script.
