You'll work across the stack on web and native applications, owning features end-to-end while helping improve, organize, and modernize TOCA's software systems and development workflows. This role serves as a key bridge between our technical architecture and our business operations, ensuring that the digital tools we build directly support the guest experience and center team efficiency.
We're especially interested in developers who are excited about AI-native software development. AI-assisted coding, agents, automation, and modern development workflows are becoming central to how we build software. This is an opportunity to build meaningful products in a fast-moving environment where technology and soccer come together every day.
What You’ll Do
  • Build and maintain features end-to-end across our web and native applications.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to take features from spec to production.

  • Help coordinate technical work across internal and external development contributors.
  • Help improve software organization, documentation, workflows, and technical visibility across projects.
  • Contribute to evolving TOCA's development process toward a more AI-first and automation-driven approach.
  • Explore how AI agents, automation, and modern tooling can improve development speed, QA, support, and operational efficiency.
  • Partner with operations, finance, and training teams to translate operational needs into clear feature requirements.
  • Work to reduce administrative workload for center teams by building robust, reliable digital workflows.
What We're Looking For
  • 5+ years of professional experience building full-stack web and/or native applications.
  • Solid working knowledge of React and the modern React ecosystem.
  • Strong proficiency with TypeScript and JavaScript.
  • Hands-on experience building backends with Node.js.
  • Comfortable owning a feature from implementation through deployment.
  • Proficiency with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, agents, or similar modern workflows.
  • Interest in AI-native development workflows, agents, and software automation.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a comfort level working cross-functionally between operations and technology.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-moving environment.
  • Comfortable helping organize and coordinate technical efforts across multiple projects and contributors.
  • Experience working with CRM systems, booking platforms, or subscription-based products.
  • Proven ability to translate complex business requirements into high-quality product improvements.
Nice to Have
  • Experience with Expo or React Native.
  • Familiarity with relational or document databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
  • Exposure to cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or similar).
  • Experience working with external vendors or distributed development teams.
  • Passion for soccer, sports, gaming, or interactive experiences.
TOCA Culture:
  • Live and represent TOCA’s core values of excellence, grit, innovation, and community
  • Approach financial planning and analysis with a builder mindset, continuously improving systems, tools, and decision-making processes
  • Bring curiosity, accountability, and strategic thinking to complex business challenges
  • Operate with a high level of ownership, accuracy, and attention to detail
  • Partner collaboratively across teams to support growth, scalability, and operational excellence
