Role Description

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Full Stack Lead Developer to join our CCAR technology team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in backend development using Python and Django, along with hands-on experience building modern user interfaces using React. The role requires deep technical knowledge of cloud-native solutions, data platforms, and application architecture, as well as the ability to lead development efforts, mentor team members, and drive the delivery of scalable, high-quality solutions.

Role Objectives: Delivery

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end design, development, and support of applications built with Django and React
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance REST APIs
  • Architect and integrate Azure Cloud services for application deployment, monitoring, and operations
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and technology teams to deliver comprehensive solutions
  • Conduct code reviews and enforce development best practices, coding standards, and security controls
  • Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering technical growth within the team
  • Optimize database performance and manage data storage solutions effectively
  • Ensure application reliability, scalability, performance, and security across environments
  • Participate in solution architecture, technical design reviews, and strategic technology decisions
  • Support regulatory reporting and CCAR-related application initiatives through sound engineering practices
Qualifications and Skills

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
  • 8+ years of backend development experience, including extensive hands-on experience with Python and Django
  • 2+ years of experience developing front-end applications using React
  • Proven experience designing and implementing solutions on Microsoft Azure
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and web application architecture
  • Experience working with both SQL and NoSQL databases
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working in Agile development environments

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Azure Databricks
  • Familiarity with Delta Lake architecture and Delta Tables
  • Knowledge of modern DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native application deployment
