Junior Full Stack Developer

A Fortune 500 company is looking for a Junior Full Stack developer in the Fort Worth metroplex. This is a 12-month contract with opportunity for extension or conversion to full time. The role will be 3-5 days a month onsite and the rest of the days remote.

Senior Full Stack

  • 8+ years of software engineering development experience with at least 2 years leading complex IT projects/initiative
  • An ability to efficiently deliver mid to large-scale initiatives by empowering and supporting your team and by helping to identify and remove impediments
  • A passion for technology and ability to navigate your way across sophisticated and constantly evolving landscapes by staying on top of the latest trends
  • Experience working in agile teams and sound knowledge of agile scrum methodology
  • A self-starter, who actively challenges status-quo, is curious and not afraid to ask โ€œWhyโ€ and โ€œWhat ifโ€?
  • Experience mentoring and guiding junior developers
  • Proven experience working with Angular 10+, Java, J2EE stack, Spring/Spring Boot, Azure, SQL, Maven or Ant, Git and Test Driven Development (TDD)
  • Hands-on experience with the API Design & Development and Micro Services Architecture
  • Experience with DevOps, Continuous Integration and Delivery tools like Jenkins, Maven, uDeploy, Stash and Docker.
  • Knowledge of Messaging Technologies (Kafka, Kinesis, SNS, SQS)

Required Skills: Java, Spring/Spring Boot, Angular Basic Qualification: 2 years of team lead experience Experience guiding and mentoring junior developers

This is a long term contract with strong likelihood for contract extension. Candidates will only work 3-5 days a month onsite. Candidates will have the opportunity to learn Camunda.
