Front End Developer - Public Sector

Role Summary:ย 

Exigerย isย seekingย aย Front Endย Developer to build and deliver the user experience layer of a highly strategic, federally aligned supply chain resilience initiative. Reporting into engineering leadership, this individual will own dashboards, user experience, andย visualizationย delivery within a live control-tower environment. This is a mission-critical role focused on transforming complex data into intuitive, decision-ready interfaces for operators, analysts, and senior stakeholders.ย 

ย 
Whatย You'llย Do:ย 

  • Design and build intuitive dashboards that support real-time operational decision-makingย 
  • Own the user experience across control-tower workflows, ensuring clarity, usability, and performanceย 
  • Develop data visualizations that translate complex supply chain and risk data into actionable insightsย 
  • Partner with backend and platform engineers to integrate APIs and data services into front-end applicationsย 
  • Collaborate with Forward Deployed Engineers and stakeholders to rapidly iterate on user-facing featuresย 
  • Ensure responsiveness, performance, and reliability across all front-end componentsย 
  • Establish front-end standards and best practices for UI/UX,ย componentย design, and visualization frameworksย 
  • Support the evolution of executive, analyst, and operator views within the platformย

What You Need:ย 

  • Strong experience building modern front-end applications using frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vueย 
  • Experience developing data-rich dashboards and visualization toolsย 
  • Proficiencyย in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSSย 
  • Experience working with APIs and integrating front-end systems with backend servicesย 
  • Strong understanding of UX/UI principles and ability to translate complex data into intuitive interfacesย 
  • Experience working in fast-paced, product-drivenย or mission-critical environmentsย 
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active Top Secret security clearance and eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI)ย

  • 3-8 years of experience in front-end development or related rolesย 
  • Experience working with data visualization libraries (e.g., D3.js, Chart.js, or similar)ย 
  • Experience supporting federal or highly regulated environments is a plusย
