We currently have a role available for an Pharma In Vivo Biologist.


Job duties include, but are not limited to, the following:


  • Design and execute in vivo studies with pre-clinical discovery and translational biology teams.
  • Interact and collaborate with various discovery technologies functional teams to develop and implement novel in vivo models.
  • Prepare drug solutions and inoculations, multiple routes of drug administration (e.g. subcutaneous, tail vein, intraperitoneal, and retro-orbital injection and oral gavage).
  • Tumor cell implantation and tumor measurement using a caliper.
    • Orthotopic implantation is preferred.
  • Harvest blood, tumor, bone marrow, spleen and other tissue samples from mice to help establish PK/PD and toxicity measurements, flow cytometry analysis and histology.
  • Culture tumor cells according to SOPs and contribute to the development of SOPs.


Job requirements include, but are not limited to:


  • BS - Molecular Biology, Cell Biology or related field with 5 years of related lab experience experience or MS wiith 2-3 years of related lab experience required.
  • Extensive expertise in vivo pharmacology skills preferably in oncology.
    • Experience in IVIS imaging is preferred but not required.
  • Proficiency in Graphpad Prism is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal and written.
  • Works well both as a team and as an individual.
  • Demonstration of excellent team player skills, very strong attention to detail, very strong problem-solving skills, a high level of learning agility, and the ability to work across functions. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and self-motivated, with the leadership and communication skills necessary to operate effectively in a fast-paced multidisciplinary environment with flexibility and an adaptable approach to goal delivery.


    This is a day shift position (approx. 8a-5p local time).
