Centennial Technologies is seeking a motivated Junior Financial Analyst to support a fast-paced public sector client. This role is ideal for an early-career professional with a strong foundation in finance/accounting, solid analytic skills, and an interest in building a career in federal financial management. The Junior Financial Analyst will support financial reporting, data analytics, and process documentation efforts while collaborating with cross-functional teams and client stakeholders. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, communicates clearly, and is eager to grow technical and professional skills in a structured environment.

Requirements:
  • Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively across cross-functional teams.
  • High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to support the preparation of financial reports and/or federal financial statements through data analysis and validation of large datasets.
  • Ability to document and understand complex processes, including Standard Operating Procedures, desk guides; and process flowcharts.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, IF statements, lookup formulas (VLOOKUP/LOOPUP/Index Match), and basic macros.
  • Strong analytical mindset and technical writing skills.

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Experience in accounting/financial management with a demonstrated ability in areas such as cost and financial accounting techniques, accounting operations, business management and possess knowledge of financial and accounting policies. Experience in office products such as MS PowerPoint, Excel and Access.
  • 0-2 years of experience.
  • MUST BE A US CITIZEN.
  • Must be able to obtain clearance.
