Job description

Build systems that sustain communities. Our engineers design and deliver reliable, resilient, and sustainable water and wastewater systems that protect public health and support community growth. As a Water/Wastewater Engineer, you'll help shape the infrastructure that keeps cities running and people safe.
What You'll Do
  • Design, lead, and manage projects involving treatment, distribution, and collection systems.
  • Collaborate with engineers, operators, and municipal clients to develop creative, cost-effective solutions.
  • Oversee project scopes, budgets, and schedules while mentoring junior staff.
  • Prepare reports, technical memoranda, and construction documents that reflect high standards of quality.
  • Complete construction administration tasks including coordination with contractors and clients, attending meetings, reviewing submittals and pay applications, and preparing punch list and closeout documents.
  • Engage with clients and communities to communicate technical ideas clearly and confidently.
  • Contribute to business development and proposal efforts as you grow into a trusted advisor.

Salary Range: $95,000 - $115,000 per year
The specific salary offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (Master's a plus).
  • 5+ years of experience in water/wastewater system design and project delivery.
  • PE license or EIT actively pursuing licensure.
  • Experience with AutoDesk tools and hydraulic/process modeling software.
  • Familiarity with BIM software such as Revit is a plus.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to collaborate efficiently with teammates in different disciplines and locations.
  • Willingness to continue learning to fill different roles based on project needs that vary in breadth, depth, and subject matter.
  • Willingness to receive and understand instructions/guidance and complete tasks independently.
