Job description

Description

Position Summary

We are seeking a hands-on, technically strong ERP and Analytics Manager to lead Gifthealth's Acumatica platform and the ERP Specialist team that supports it. This role is the primary owner of the ERP system across Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations, responsible for the platform's integrity, ongoing optimization, and major project execution. The ERP and Analytics Manager will directly manage the ERP Specialist team, owning their day-to-day direction, development, and performance, while also personally leading the large-scale Acumatica projects that require deep system expertise and cross-functional coordination. On the analytics side, this person will ensure the organization has the data visibility it needs to make informed decisions, building and governing a reporting and dashboard infrastructure that serves Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations leaders.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership and Development

  • Directly manage the ERP Specialist team, providing clear direction on daily priorities, project assignments, and performance expectations, and conducting regular one-on-ones and structured performance reviews.
  • Assign and oversee Specialist workloads across operational support, project tasks, and data management responsibilities, balancing team capacity against competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Coach and develop ERP Specialists by sharing technical knowledge, providing stretch assignments on major projects, and building the team's depth and independence in Acumatica over time.
  • Serve as the escalation point for complex ERP issues, data discrepancies, or project blockers that exceed the Specialist team's scope, resolving them directly or coordinating with IT and Acumatica support as needed.

ERP Project Leadership

  • Own and lead all major Acumatica projects end to end, including new module implementations, system upgrades, configuration changes, and integration initiatives involving Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations stakeholders.
  • Define project scope, timelines, resource requirements, and success criteria for each major ERP initiative, managing stakeholder expectations and communicating progress clearly to the Director of Supply Chain and cross-functional leadership.
  • Coordinate with IT, Acumatica implementation partners, and third-party vendors on technical deliverables, ensuring external resources are managed effectively and project risks are identified and mitigated early.
  • Design and execute testing plans for new Acumatica configurations, customizations, and integrations, including user acceptance testing (UAT) in coordination with affected functional teams before any changes go live.
  • Maintain a prioritized ERP project roadmap that reflects both strategic system needs and operational improvement requests from Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations, updated regularly and reviewed with the Director of Supply Chain.

Acumatica Platform Ownership and Governance

  • Own Acumatica as the platform of record for Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations, setting the governance standards, configuration policies, and data quality expectations that apply across all modules and users.
  • Manage Acumatica user access, role permissions, and security settings, ensuring the right people have appropriate access to the right modules and that access is reviewed and updated as organizational changes occur.
  • Oversee ongoing system maintenance including Acumatica version upgrades, patch management, and environment management (production, sandbox, and test), coordinating downtime windows and change communications with affected teams.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of all system configurations, customizations, integrations, and workflows, ensuring documentation is current and accessible to support audits, onboarding, and business continuity.
  • Act as the primary liaison between Gifthealth and Acumatica support, VAR partners, and third-party integration vendors, managing support tickets, escalations, and vendor relationships on behalf of the organization.

Analytics and Reporting

  • Oversee the development and governance of Acumatica-based reporting, including Generic Inquiries, pivot tables, dashboards, and scheduled report outputs that serve Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations leaders.
  • Partner with Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations stakeholders to understand their reporting needs and translate them into reliable, maintainable data solutions built within or connected to Acumatica.
  • Establish and enforce data quality standards across Acumatica modules, working with the ERP Specialist team and functional leads to identify and resolve data integrity issues before they affect reporting accuracy.

Cross-Functional Collaboration and Stakeholder Management

  • Partner with Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, and IT leadership to gather and prioritize ERP enhancement requests, building a structured intake process that balances stakeholder needs against team capacity and project complexity.
  • Consult with functional teams on process design before changes are built in Acumatica, ensuring system configurations reflect how the business actually operates and that downstream impacts are understood before go-live.
  • Drive user adoption of Acumatica by supporting training programs, creating user-facing documentation, and partnering with the ERP Specialist team to resolve usability issues and knowledge gaps across functional departments.
  • Communicate project status, system changes, and upcoming maintenance windows to affected stakeholders in a clear and timely manner, minimizing operational disruption and building organizational trust in the ERP function.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. Equivalent experience in ERP administration and project delivery will be considered.
  • Licensure/Certification: Not required. Acumatica certification (any module), PMP, or equivalent project management credential is a meaningful plus.
  • Experience: 3 to 5 years of progressive ERP experience required, with a strong background in Acumatica administration, configuration, and project delivery across Supply Chain and Finance modules. Prior people management experience is preferred but not required; candidates who are stepping into their first management role from a strong individual contributor background are encouraged to apply. Experience managing or significantly contributing to at least one large-scale ERP implementation or system project is required.
  • Skills:
    • Deep hands-on proficiency in Acumatica across Supply Chain and Finance modules, including purchasing, inventory, order management, accounts payable, and general ledger workflows.
    • Demonstrated ability to lead ERP projects from requirements gathering through testing, go-live, and post-launch stabilization, managing scope, timelines, and stakeholder communication throughout.
    • Strong working knowledge of Acumatica's reporting capabilities including Generic Inquiries, pivot tables, dashboards, and report templates; experience connecting Acumatica to Power BI or similar BI tools is a plus.
    • Solid understanding of supply chain and financial business processes and how they are supported within an ERP environment, enabling effective consultation with functional stakeholders on system design decisions.
    • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and competing priorities without losing attention to detail or quality.
    • Clear and effective communication skills, with the ability to translate technical ERP concepts into plain language for non-technical stakeholders and escalate system issues appropriately to leadership.
    • A collaborative, service-oriented mindset with a track record of building trust with functional users and delivering ERP solutions that improve the way people work.
Desired Attributes
  • Acumatica certification in one or more modules (Distribution, Manufacturing, Finance, or Project Accounting), or demonstrated completion of Acumatica Open University coursework.
  • Experience with Acumatica customization tools including user-defined fields, business events, push notifications, and workflow engine configuration.
  • Experience managing ERP integrations with third-party systems such as WMS, 3PL platforms, e-commerce, or EDI providers via API or middleware.
  • Prior experience in a healthcare, pharmaceutical, or regulated distribution environment where system controls, audit trails, and data accuracy carry compliance implications.
  • Formal project management training or methodology experience (PMP, Agile, or similar) applied to ERP delivery or system change management.
  • Experience developing or governing a data quality or master data management program within an ERP environment.
Work Environment
  • Location: On-site, Columbus, OH
  • Schedule: Full-time; standard business hours with flexibility required for system upgrades, go-live events, and critical issue resolution outside normal hours.
  • Regular collaboration with the Director of Supply Chain, ERP Specialist team, Finance, Operations, and IT; occasional coordination with Acumatica support and third-party partners.
Key Essential Functions
  • Must be able to remain stationary at a workstation for extended periods while administering the ERP system, managing projects, and supporting users.
  • Must be able to perform repetitive computer-based tasks including system configuration, data review, and report development throughout the workday.
