Junior Environmental Scientist/Technologist/Geoscientist-

ADay in theLife

As an Junior Engineer/Scientist, in our Calgary, Alberta office, you'll be responsible for assisting multiple projects where you will have increasing interaction with our multi-disciplinary staff, regulatory agencies and clients. You will be part of a strong team of committed professionals.

The compensation range for this role is $25.00 to $35.00, commensurate with experience, skills, and geographic location.

To thrive in this role,you'llbe comfortable taking ownership of the following responsibilities:

  • Assist with the field coordination and execution of Phase I, II,and IIIenvironmentalsite assessments; remediation and ground water monitoring programs

  • Support well abandonment activities including: surface reclamation, soil and vegetation assessment

  • Contribute to the preparation of reports, work plans, and cost estimates

  • Participate in spill responses and associated clean-up activities

  • Travel as required to support field programs

  • Aid other service line projects when needed

YourExpertise andSkills

  • Degree or technical diploma in the environmental sciences, engineering, or other applicable field

  • 1-3 years of related experience

  • Function effectively as part of a collaborative team

  • Service-oriented and have the ability to multi-task

  • Self-motivated and possess strong written and verbal communication skills

  • A valid class 5 driver's license with no restrictions and clean driving record
