Your future role on our team

You'll work at either CPP/BBA's Sherwood Park or RedDeer office as a junior environmental professional. The Environment department supportsa wide range of project development and execution projects in the industrial(energy, mining, linear projects), commercial and private sectors. This includesbiophysical characterization, impact and social acceptability studies as wellas approval and permit applications.

As a junior environmental professional/technician,you'll perform various tasks within a multidisciplinary team and coordinateyour work with project managers to deliver mandates.

  • Support project managers in preparing proposals, including strategy, work plan, budget and more
  • Help deliver environmental impact assessments and related studies as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Lead and participate in field surveys
  • Lead and participate in preparing environmental permit and authorization applications
  • Develop methodologies, prepare sampling plans and ensure data entry
  • Lead or draft inventory reports, diagnostics, baseline studies and authorization requests submitted to government agencies for development projects
  • Ensure project budgets and schedules are met
  • Maintain effective and constructive relationships with clients and CPP/BBA team members
  • Promote BBA's environmental services, both internally to colleagues and externally to current and potential clients
  • Participate in innovation efforts, developing new services and communication initiatives within the Environment group
