Overview

Nucentra Solutions is urgently seeking a recently graduated or about to graduate Electrical Junior Engineer to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role requires a motivated professional who can lead projects, ensure compliance with safety standards, and inspect for quality at all levels here at our plant. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive handsโ€‘on individual eager to make an immediate impact in a fastโ€‘paced environment.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and implement electrical systems for industrial, commercial, or infrastructure projects.
  • Prepare electrical drawings, schematics, layouts, and technical documentation.
  • Conduct inspections, testing, and commissioning of electrical equipment and systems.
  • Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis of electrical failures.
  • Ensure compliance with electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations (e.g., IEC, NEC, ISO, HSE).
  • Collaborate with project teams, including mechanical, civil, and QA/QC engineers, for integrated system design.
  • Manage installation, maintenance, and calibration of electrical equipment and instrumentation.
  • Monitor performance of electrical systems and propose improvements for efficiency and reliability.
  • Provide technical support, guidance, and training to junior engineers and site staff.
  • Participate in vendor evaluation, procurement, and inspection of electrical equipment.
  • Follow HSE rules and regulations and implement them wherever possible.
  • Comply with and follow ISO procedures and policies.
  • You will need to undergo a background check, that must come back squeaky clean along with a drug test.
Key Performance Indicators
  • System Reliability: Maintain uptime for electrical systems.
  • Project Compliance: Ensure complete adherence to electrical design standards and project specifications.
  • Issue Resolution: Close electrical fault reports within defined SLA (5 days).
  • Testing & Commissioning: Achieve completion of testing and commissioning as per schedule.
  • Documentation Accuracy: Maintain accuracy in electrical drawings, schematics, and records.
  • Safety Compliance: Maintain zero electrical accidents and full adherence to HSE regulations.
  • Energy Efficiency: Propose and implement at least 2 energy optimization initiatives per year.
  • Vendor Quality: Maintain 2% defective equipment from suppliers.
Benefits and Hours

We are a startโ€‘up company and do not offer any health or dental benefits. We offer 10 holidays a year along with a week of vacation during the first 12 months of employment. You will accrue 1 week of paid vacation in the first year and 2 weeks of paid vacation during years 2-5. Hours are Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., but may vary.
