Job description

Primary Position Purpose:

The Data Engineer II works with new and legacy systems to lead the way for high-quality decisions.  The Engineer II contributes to the design and implementation of both relational and NoSQL data repositories, focusing on optimizing data access and ensuring efficient data storage. This role works independently on smaller projects and assists senior engineers on more complex tasks.

Position Functions:

         Design and implement data models and schemas for relational and NoSQL databases, with a focus on MongoDB.

         Develop and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures.

         Implement data transformation and processing pipelines.

         Collaborate with development teams to ensure data solutions meet application requirements.

         Conduct data analysis and performance tuning to optimize database systems.

         Assist in mentoring junior engineers and contribute to best practices.
