Job description

SGI Global LLC is seeking Junior Intelligence Analysts to produce timely and relevant all-source analysis on a range of areas related to the DHS areas of operation and responsibility. The Junior Intelligence Analyst researches, analyzes, interprets, evaluates and integrates extremely complex all-source intelligence data pertaining to a variety of focus areas, including but not limited to:

  • Regional Issues (Energy/Water, Ballistic Missile, WMD)
  • Counterterrorism
  • Cyberspace Intelligence & Network

The Junior Intelligence Analyst prepares extensive assessments and documents and disseminates information through reports and briefs. He/She develops complex analytical approaches to problems and situations for which data is incomplete, controversial, or which no precedent exists. Additionally, he/she assesses capabilities of doctrine and strategy production, joint forces operations, force structure, manpower; joint exercises, readiness training; and intentions. The Junior Intelligence Analyst advises and briefs senior leadership regarding critical military capabilities issues, and represents the Agency's position concerning military capabilities to senior policymakers. He/she provides input to policymakers on key foreign military capabilities trends, and develops innovative approaches to analysis and validates analytical conclusions. The Junior Intelligence Analyst also maintains and updates extensive intelligence databases, systems, and mechanisms for sharing relevant intelligence information to support ongoing and projected projects.

Basic Requirements

  • Associates or Bachelor's Degree
  • 4 years intelligence analysis experience, OR
  • 4 years of military intelligence experience and recent equivalent intelligence/academic experience
  • ACTIVE TS/SCI clearance required
