Positive Progress Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our innovative team on a full-time, remote basis. This role involves providing essential therapeutic support to adolescents and young adults, helping them navigate their mental health challenges through evidence-based practices. Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will undertake a variety of essential duties, including but not limited to:

  • Communicating proactively with families and acting as a primary point of contact.
  • Facilitating various forms of therapy, including individual, family, and group sessions, in line with our clinical model and Attachment-Based Family Therapy model.
  • Conducting Family Orientations and Welcome Presentations to engage families in the treatment process.
  • Leading Family Support Groups that empower families and create a supportive community.
  • Timely completion of comprehensive documentation—such as assessments, treatment plans, and discharge summaries—in accordance with established standards.
  • Utilizing systems like Word, Outlook, and our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) platform for data entry and scheduling management.
  • Participating in weekly treatment team meetings and clinical supervision to enhance teamwork and clinical effectiveness.
  • Representing Positive Progress Counseling Center in trainings and conferences as required.
  • Independently managing your schedule to meet therapy goals and administrative tasks efficiently.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The therapist will primarily work with adolescents and young adults facing various challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, and family dynamics. Our programs emphasize a strengths-based approach, ensuring clients feel empowered and supported throughout their healing journey. Qualifications

To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following education and licensure requirements:
