Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Data Scientist with expertise in deep learning, particularly as applied to a combination of text and structured data. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing innovative Deep Learning models, driving innovation, and providing technical leadership to a team of data scientists. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, and researchers, to identify opportunities, design solutions, and deliver high-impact projects that leverage Deep Learning technologies.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
• Lead the development and implementation of deep learning models to solve complex business problems and drive innovation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineers, software developers, and domain experts to understand business workflow and integrate deep learning solutions into production systems and products.
• Stay up to date with the latest advancements in deep learning research and technology and apply this knowledge to improve existing models and develop new capabilities.
• Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to the growth and development of the data science team.
• Communicate complex technical concepts and findings to non-technical stakeholders through clear and effective presentations, reports, and visualizations.
Work Experience And Education Requirements
• Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field required.
• Ph.D. preferred
• 3-5 years of experience in applying deep learning methods to text data, including natural language processing, text classification, sentiment analysis, or other related applications.
• Strong background in machine learning, statistical modeling, and data mining.
• Proficiency in Python and experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or JAX.
• Familiarity with big data tools such as Spark, or similar technologies.
• Experience designing and implementing large-scale data pipelines and processing systems.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), CI/CD tools (Jenkins) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong programming skills in Python and experience working with version control systems (Git).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
