Job description

We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 X++ Developer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, customizing, and supporting Dynamics AX 2012 applications, integrations, reports, and business processes. The role requires strong X++ development experience, ERP business process knowledge, and the ability to work closely with business users and technical teams to deliver scalable solutions.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, customize, and support Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 applications using X++.
  • Develop and maintain forms, tables, classes, queries, reports, and workflows within AX.
  • Gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Create and support integrations between AX and external systems using AIF, web services, APIs, EDI, and third-party applications.
  • Develop and maintain SSRS reports, dashboards, and data extracts.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, performance bottlenecks, and application defects.
  • Perform code reviews, testing, deployment, and documentation of AX customizations.
  • Support data migration, data conversion, and system upgrade initiatives.
  • Collaborate with functional consultants, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Participate in system enhancements, maintenance, and continuous improvement activities.

 

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 development experience.
  • Strong proficiency in X++ programming and MorphX development environment.
