PeopleTec is currently seeking a Junior Cybersecurity Analyst to support our Huntsville, AL location.

Duties:

  • Organizes access to computer data files, evaluates data file use, and updates computer security files to keep them up to date.
  • Plans and implements security measures to protect computer systems, networks, and data from loss and service interruptions.
  • Analyzes and documents security risks, breaches, and other cyber security incidents and the damage they cause.
  • Develops and implements a network disaster recovery plan, and oversees the monitoring of the computer networks for security issues.
  • Plans and implements security measures to protect computer systems, networks, and data from loss and service interruptions.
  • Installs and operates security software and measures to protect systems and information infrastructure, including firewalls and data encryption programs.
  • Identifies current security threats, predicts future attacks, and designs a security incident response program with a documented plan of action to take if a security incident occurs.
  • Remediates security incidents, and works with upper management to prepare for potential business repercussions.
  • Collaborates with the security team to perform tests and find network weaknesses.
  • Performs threat hunting and provides reports that identify potential risks to clients systems and networks.
  • Participates in network and system penetration testing events to identify weaknesses and vulnerabilities and works with management to develop executive level reports to client personnel.
  • Researches and recommends security enhancements and purchases.
  • Works with management to develop best practices.
  • Researches and keeps current on the latest IT intelligence technologies, trends, and security standards.
