We are seeking a Junior/Intermediate Document Controller who brings strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and experience working within a fast-paced EPCM environment. In this role, you will support project teams by maintaining document control processes, managing project records, and ensuring the accurate distribution, tracking, and storage of engineering and project documentation.

What You’ll Do
As a Junior/Intermediate Document Controller, you will support the delivery of accurate, timely, and compliant document management services. Your role will include:
Document Control & Administration
• Receive, register, distribute, and file incoming and outgoing project documentation
• Coordinate document control activities for technical documents, drawings, and commercial correspondence
• Input and maintain document information within project registers and tracking systems
• Ensure controlled copies of approved documents and drawings are distributed to the appropriate project personnel, vendors, and contractors
• Maintain accurate records of document revisions, approvals, and distributions
Project Documentation Management
• Maintain project files, control logs, drawing registers, and document databases
• Administer and maintain Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS)
• Prepare transmittals, drawing indexes, status reports, and document control reports
• Support the filing and maintenance of project databooks and final turnover documentation
• Ensure all project documents are stored securely and remain easily retrievable
Coordination & Team Collaboration
• Provide document control support to project teams, clients, vendors, and contractors
• Facilitate internal and vendor document review workflows
• Coordinate squad reviews for project drawings and vendor documentation
• Work closely with engineers, designers, and project personnel to ensure documentation requirements are met
Quality & Compliance
• Perform quality control checks at all drawing and document issue stages
• Ensure documents comply with project procedures, client requirements, and company standards
• Maintain document integrity, accuracy, and traceability throughout the project lifecycle
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to document control processes and systems
About You
You are a detail-oriented professional who enjoys organization, process management, and supporting project teams in a fast-paced environment. You bring:
• High School Diploma (required)
• Minimum 5 years of document control experience
• EPCM experience considered an asset
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple deadlines
• A proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving
Technical Foundation
• Experience with Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS) within an EPCM environment
• Knowledge of document control processes, procedures, and best practices

• Ability to maintain clear, accurate records and reports
• Strong understanding of document filing systems, revision control, and document tracking methodologies
Software Proficiency
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel 
• Experience with Microsoft Access databases 
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook 
• Experience using EDMS platforms and document tracking systems 
• General proficiency with computer and office software applications
