JOB SUMMARY
The OSR is seeking undergraduate students to serve as Administrative Research Assistants under the ISA classification. Students will support day-to-day operations and strategic planning of OSR programs, such as the Summer Research Program and Meeting of the Minds Symposium. Administrative ISAs will assist in communications, event logistics, data entry, and outreach to students and faculty. Candidates should demonstrate strong organizational and interpersonal skills and a commitment to supporting research at CSUSB.
TYPICAL ACTIVITIES
- Provide clerical and administrative support, including scheduling, email correspondence, and filing.
- Support the planning and execution of workshops, events, and research conferences.
- Create promotional materials, newsletters, and social media content.
- Assist with data entry and the maintenance of research-related databases.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be a currently enrolled graduate student at CSUSB.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Must be eligible to work on campus and successfully complete hiring paperwork.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Suite.
  • Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multitask.

SPECIAL CONDITIONS
The person holding this position is considered a 'mandated reporter' under the California Child Abuse and Neglect Reporting Act and is required to comply with the requirements set forth in CSU Executive Order 1083 as a condition of employment.
