DIGITAL GRAPHIC DESIGNER
REPORTS TO: DIGITAL DESIGN MANAGER

Boot Barn is looking for a full-time, junior Digital Graphic Designer to join our in-house creative team. This position will conceptualize, execute and design digital assets. This includes email campaigns, site banners and graphics, digital marketing ads, and landing pages to support the ecommerce site. The ideal candidate will understand best practices for digital marketing design and be able to present their creative designs to the team through excellent written and verbal communication skills, while adapting these designs based on input from several departments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Create digital graphic assets and web content for the site (homepage banners, category banners, and content landing pages)
  • Design email blasts (promotional, events, transactional and more)
  • Design digital banner ads and social media graphics as needed
  • Develop innovative and creative ideas for digital creative
  • Collaborate closely with team and management on design elements
  • Select relevant images from internal and vendor databases to fit the goal of the digital creative and more
  • Schedule, manage and prioritize digital graphic design pieces
  • Maintain web graphic standards and brand guidelines in all creative designs
  • Update website content to coincide with marketing campaigns
  • Maintain and continuously improve brand guidelines
  • Any other duties as assigned
  • Demonstrates high level of quality work, attendance and appearance.
  • Demonstrates high degree of professionalism in communication, attitude and teamwork with customers, peers and management.
  • Adhere to all local, federal and state laws in addition to Company policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Performs any other duties that may be assigned by management.

Qualifications
  • Strong communication, customer service, time management and organizational skills.
  • Degree or diploma in Graphic Design
  • 3+ years of work experience in graphic design in a retail or creative agency environment.
  • Experience with print graphic design processes
  • Experience with paid social media ad creative
  • Demonstrate illustrative, layout and typography skills through Adobe CC: Photoshop. Illustrator, InDesign
  • Working knowledge HTML a plus
  • Knowledge of industry web standards, layout principles and aesthetic design concepts
  • Experience working within brand guidelines
  • Must be extremely well organized, work well under pressure
  • Self-motivated with good initiative
  • Experience meeting multiple deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
