Job description

Gritter Francona is looking for a Senior Developer to help support the full lifecycle deployment and implementation of the Oracle EHR system throughout the Veterans Affairs hospitals. As aSenior Developer, you will serve as a technical leader responsible for designing, developing, and supporting enterprise integration solutions within the ServiceNow platform. You will play a critical role in delivering scalable, secure, and high-quality integrations that enable business and operational success across client and partner organizations.

In this role, you will collaborate with architects, developers, business stakeholders, and program leadership to implement integration solutions, resolve complex technical challenges, and ensure successful delivery across multiple workstreams. You will provide technical expertise, mentor junior developers, assess implementation risks, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain ServiceNow integrations using IntegrationHub, Flow Designer, REST/SOAP APIs, MID Servers, and other integration technologies.
  • Lead technical implementation efforts for ServiceNow integration projects while ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and development best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across client and partner organizations to deliver scalable and reliable integration solutions.
  • Analyze technical requirements and translate business needs into effective ServiceNow integration designs.
  • Identify implementation risks, troubleshoot complex issues, and drive timely resolution to maintain project momentum.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, interface specifications, system diagrams, and operational procedures.
  • Coordinate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure alignment across project teams and workstreams.
  • Perform code reviews, mentor junior developers, and promote development standards and best practices.
  • Support testing, deployment, and production operations, ensuring system stability and continuity of service.
  • Contribute to technical analysis, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance platform performance and operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience developing and supporting integrations within the ServiceNow platform.
  • Strong knowledge of ServiceNow IntegrationHub, Flow Designer, Script Includes, Business Rules, REST APIs, SOAP Web Services, and JavaScript.
  • Experience integrating ServiceNow with enterprise applications using APIs, middleware, or other integration technologies.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across diverse technical and business teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working in Agile development environments.
  • Proficiency with collaboration, documentation, and project management tools.
Preferred Qualifications
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA), Certified Application Developer (CAD), Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS), or other relevant ServiceNow certifications.
  • Experience supporting federal government clients, health IT programs, or other regulated environments.
  • Knowledge of Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and healthcare interoperability standards.
