Position Overview
We are looking for a Junior Project Manager to support the successful delivery of satellite ground station infrastructure projects while developing the technical, commercial, and leadership capabilities required to become an independent Project Manager. Working alongside experienced project professionals, this role provides coordination, planning, reporting, and project support throughout all phases of delivery.
Responsibilities
  • Maintain project schedules, action trackers, and meeting minutes
  • Support procurement activities and long-lead equipment tracking
  • Assist with contractor coordination and logistics
  • Maintain risk, issue, and change logs
  • Produce weekly project reports and dashboards
  • Support document control and configuration management activities
  • Assist during site surveys, installation, and commissioning activities
  • Track project deliverables and follow up on outstanding actions

Qualifications
  • Degree, HNC, or HND in Engineering, Telecommunications, Construction, or Project Management, or equivalent qualification
  • PRINCE2 Foundation certification is desirable or willingness to obtain
  • Basic understanding of engineering or construction projects
  • Interest in satellite communications
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Project or Smartsheet is desirable
  • Understanding of document control and reporting practices
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Willingness to learn and develop professionally
