Senior ServiceNow Developer
Experience 8-10 years
Job Summary
Seeking a highly skilled Senior ServiceNow Developer with extensive experience across multiple ServiceNow modules including ITSM, ITAM, ITOM, SPM, HRSD, SECOPS, and Vulnerability Management. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in platform development, integrations, CMDB, CSDM, and advanced scripting, capable of delivering scalable, optimized solutions in complex enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement customized solutions on the ServiceNow platform across various modules to meet business requirements.
Lead complex integrations using REST, SOAP, and other ServiceNow APIs to ensure seamless data flow between ServiceNow and external systems.
Sustain and enhance the CMDB and Common Service Data Model (CSDM) to improve data quality, compliance, and visibility.
Write advanced scripts including Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, and Flow Designer automations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects, analysts, and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Perform code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and implement best practices to maintain high development standards.
Mentor junior developers and foster knowledge sharing within the team.
Stay updated with new ServiceNow releases, features, and best practices; apply these to existing and future implementations.
Required Qualifications
10-12 years of progressive experience in ServiceNow development with hands-on expertise.
Strong knowledge and experience in ITSM, ITAM, ITOM, SPM, HRSD, SECOPS, and Vulnerability Management modules.
Proficient with CMDB, CSDM concepts, configuration, and governance.
Expert-level scripting skills in JavaScript, Glide APIs, and ServiceNow platform scripting tools.
Extensive integration experience using REST/SOAP web services and third-party connectors.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in team environments.
ServiceNow certifications such as Certified System Administrator, Certified Application Developer, or module-specific CIS preferred.
