Job Description
Westbrook High School is seeking a creative, engaging and energetic English teacher to join our English department in a long term substitute teaching role. Courses will include 10th grade English, Discussion & Debate and Public Speaking. The ideal candidate will have a Maine D.O.E 100 certification. The ideal candidate will have experience as a 9-12 English teacher, a willingness to collaborate and share best practices with colleagues, and be skilled at working with all students.
About the School
Westbrook High School is proud to serve the City of Westbrook. Our learners represent 27 different countries of origin and speak over 15 languages other than English. The needs of individual learners are recognized and met through the work of our exemplary staff and diverse programming. We offer a wide range of extracurricular clubs, activities and athletic teams.
