Job Summary
Weber Shandwick is seeking a dynamic and motivated Junior Designer, Healthcare to join our growing creative team. The ideal candidate is a conceptual thinker and creative design wizard. In this role, you'll concept and design for a variety of social platforms, presentations, integrated campaigns and more for healthcare brands shaping culture and conversation. If you're excited by the opportunity to create smart, engaging work that makes complex topics feel human, relevant and unexpected, we'd love to talk to you.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Help support design across a wide range of assignments, including identity work, campaign creative, social content, video, mockups, infographics, presentations, experiential and print collateral/OOH.
  • Experience in designing for social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, LinkedIn and YouTube.) with an understanding of best practices for creative, design, and layout.
  • Ensure all visual design adheres to existing brand guidelines.
  • Create design solutions that meet or exceed strategic objectives.
  • Collaborate with art directors, designers, strategists, producers and other team members to bring ideas to life.
  • Help develop long-term creative plans and recommendations for client objectives.
  • Present your own creative work internally to teammates.
  • Maintain strong working knowledge of product features and benefits
  • Incorporate feedback from Creative Directors, teammates, clients and legal department with precision and a positive attitude

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Must have a portfolio (may include spec work, college work and creative design)
  • Passion for creative design, social media and digital-first thinking
  • Fluent in the design specifics of various social platforms including IG, TikTok, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook, Twitch, Reddit, etc
  • Ability to leverage AI tools to strengthen design
  • Self-motivated, organized and deadline-driven
  • In tune with social trends and emerging techniques for storytelling and visual brand expression
  • Passionate about health and wellness
  • Willingness to push creative boundaries
  • Able to prioritize and manage own time
  • Ability to work within Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, After Effects and XD) as well as presentation software (PowerPoint). With a basic understanding of print production, typography systems and layout fundamentals; any After Effects animation skills will be utilized

$50,000 - $55,000
