The Dalles Health and Rehabilitation Center is proud to offer a FREE Nursing Assistant training program with paid wages while you attend class. This is a great opportunity to earn while you learn and step into a rewarding healthcare career.
We are committed to fostering a welcoming, inclusive, and safe environment for everyone. Our diverse team works together to make a real difference in the lives of the residents and communities we serve.
Program Details
  • Start Date: June 1st, 2026
  • Duration: 4 weeks (online & in-person)
  • Cost: $176 for testing and fingerprints - PAID by the center if hired
  • CPR certification included
  • Immediate employment opportunities upon successful completion and certification

Training Includes
  • Basic patient care fundamentals
  • Classroom instruction and hands-on clinical experience
  • Focus on adult and geriatric care
  • Eligibility to test for State Nursing Assistant Certification

All educational and clinical training time is 100% free, with the expectation of a minimum 6-month employment commitment at one of our centers following certification.
