What You'll Do

As a Special Event Security Officer, you'll help ensure the safety and security of guests, staff, and event operations by:

  • Maintaining a professional and visible security presence throughout the venue
  • Monitoring entrances, exits, credential checkpoints, and restricted areas
  • Verifying credentials and controlling access to authorized locations
  • Providing exceptional customer service and assisting attendees with directions and general information
  • Monitoring crowd activity and identifying potential safety or security concerns
  • Enforcing venue rules and event policies in a professional manner
  • Responding appropriately to incidents, emergencies, and requests for assistance
  • Completing Daily Activity Reports (DARs) and Incident Reports accurately and thoroughly
  • Communicating effectively with supervisors, event staff, and fellow officers

Minimum Qualifications
  • Valid California Guard Card (Required)
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Reliable transportation
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume event environment
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to work assigned shifts during the event
