Job description

Summer at SLS campers delight in seeing friendly faces, and their positive and memorable experiences with our counselors and CITs are a big part of what they love most about attending camp on the Hilltop. With our capable faculty and coaches providing guidance and mentorship, our counselors and CITs acquire valuable hands-on experience and develop leadership skills while showcasing St. Luke's community and culture at its very best.

Position Available
Alumni Counselor - Graduating seniors and alumni may apply to work as an Alumni Counselor, with preference given to applicants who have worked as Counselors previously and can commit to working most or all of the summer. These are paid positions ($17.50-$22.50).

We're currently enlisting counselors for the following camps:

  • Day Camp - Weeks 1-10 (AM+PM)
  • Multi-Sport Camp - Weeks 1-10 (AM+PM)
  • Baseball Camp - Weeks 3-7 (AM)
  • Basketball Camp - Weeks 1-3 (AM) and Weeks 9-10 (PM)
  • Football Camp - Weeks 2, 4, 8, and 9 (AM)
  • Tennis Camp - Weeks 6-9 (AM)

The dates of operation for Summer at SLS in 2026 are:

  • Week 1 - June 15-18 [Mon-Thurs]
  • Week 2 - June 22-26
  • Week 3 - June 29-July 3
  • Week 4 - July 6-10
  • Week 5 - July 13-17
  • Week 6 - July 20-24
  • Week 7 - July 27-31
  • Week 8 - August 3-7
  • Week 9 - August 10-14
  • Week 10 - August 17-21

These positions require frequent standing for extended periods of time, as well as frequent walking in a work environment that is both indoors and outdoors during the summer months. In addition, visual acuity and a sense of urgency are required in order to attend to young children's needs.
