JOB TITLE: System Integration/Test Engineer

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

• Plans, implements, tests, documents, and maintains solutions for integration and testing of in-house developed and COTS or GOTS components, elements, subsystems, and systems.

• Synthesizes customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.

• Establishes functional and technical specifications and standards, solves hardware or software interface problems, defines input or output parameters, and ensures integration of entire system or subsystem.

• Reviews, evaluates and derives requirements for testability, and develops test plans, procedures, and schedules for complete systems and subsystems.

• Coordinates subsystem and system testing activities with programs and other organizations.

• Performs analysis of test results and prepares comprehensive subsystem and system level evaluation reports that verify and validate system performance.

• Writes discrepancy reports and performs integration regression testing to verify or validate incorporated fixes to software, components, subsystems, and systems.

• Performs test planning, procedure development, and execution of manual and automated tests in a System or Software Integration Lab (SIL).

• Scripts automated tests and performs data analysis using Python, MATLAB, or similar tools.

• Integrates hardware and software using COTS or bespoke tools to evaluate software against requirements, identify problems, troubleshoot, and provide resolution recommendations.

Requirements:

• Active Secret Security Clearance required to start.

• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

• At least 2 years of experience with C++ programming language.

• At least 2 years of experience in system or software integration.

• At least 2 years of experience working in a System or Software Integration Lab (SIL) performing test planning, procedure development, and execution of manual and automated tests.

• At least 2 years of experience working in an agile team environment using daily scrums, sprint cadence, program increments, and epic based release schedules.

• At least 2 years of experience scripting automated tests and data analysis using Python, MATLAB, or similar.

• At least 2 years of experience in hardware and software integration using COTS or bespoke tools to evaluate software, troubleshoot, and provide resolution recommendations.

• At least 2 years of experience analyzing software problems and discrepancy reporting.

• Experience with integration regression testing to verify fixes.

• Experience with test results analysis and preparation of evaluation reports.
