Job description

Job title :         Product Engineer – Electronics Systems

Client :             Heavy Machine Manufacturing Company

Duration :        24 Months (Possibility of Extension)

Location :        Horicon, WI 53032

Shift :               1st Shift (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST)

Description:

  • Develop electrical systems for riding lawn mowers and compact utility tractors.
  • Design, test, and validate electrical hardware and software solutions.
  • Create and release vehicle wiring harnesses and electrical systems.
  • Build and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs).
  • Work with suppliers on component development and integration.
  • Support vehicle builds and production activities.
  • Participate in design reviews and cross-functional engineering projects.
  • Prepare technical documentation and engineering specifications.
  • Improve engineering processes and support product development.
  • Travel up to 10% as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 3+ years of vehicle electrical system design, testing, or integration.
  • Experience with wiring harnesses, electrical schematics, and components.
  • Understanding of hardware/software interaction.
  • Experience managing engineering project deliverables.
  • Knowledge of product development processes.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to support off-shift production when required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Off-highway or agricultural vehicle experience.
  • Experience creating and maintaining BOMs.
  • Experience with 3D CAD tools for electrical systems.
