Job Overview

We are seeking a Test Engineer I for our Microbial Solutions site in Charleston, SC.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Design and execute User Acceptant Test (UAT) cases for software/hardware
  • Identification of software/hardware defects with detailed reporting
  • Collaboration with Software Development team along with other internal groups to satisfy project timelines
  • Provide technical assistance of released/unreleased software for field teams, internal departments, and satellite facilities
  • Technical efficiency with base Windows software applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Contribute to software development sprint cycles (standup meetings, sprint demos, technical reviews)
  • Assist in drafting of technical documents per software development cycles
Qualifications
  • Associates degree or higher
  • 1-2 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance. Experience in performing software/hardware test cases (alpha/beta testing, department specific validation testing) are acceptable considerations
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills
  • Must be motivated and demonstrate initiative

The pay range for this position is $59,000-$65,000. Please note that salaries vary within the range based onfactors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, certifications, and location.
