ASRC Federal Technology Solutions is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support a federal customer. The selected candidate will provide technical project management leadership, overseeing multiple complex IT initiatives while serving as a key liaison between project teams, customers, and senior government leadership.
Work location:Â Onsite (Washington DC)
Clearance: Ability to successfully complete a government issued background investigation.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as the technical Project Manager, reporting directly to the Program Manager.
- Plan, organize, direct, and manage multiple complex, interrelated IT projects.
- Lead and oversee project teams to ensure successful execution of project objectives.
- Collaborate with OCIO stakeholders, customers, and technical staff to develop and review project plans, schedules, and deliverables.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Monitor project performance, identify risks, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Prepare and present project status updates, technical briefings, and financial reports to management, customers, and senior leadership, including the CIO.
- Track project schedules, milestones, budgets, and resources using Microsoft Project.
- Ensure all project deliverables meet contractual requirements and quality standards.
- Support Agile and Agile-Hybrid project management methodologies throughout the project lifecycle.
- Foster effective working relationships with IT support staff, customers, and senior leadership to ensure successful project execution.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience serving as a Project Manager supporting a Federal Government agency.
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple, complex IT projects simultaneously.
- Expert-level proficiency with Microsoft Project.
- Experience leading and motivating project teams to successfully achieve project goals.
- Proven ability to deliver projects on schedule and within budget.
- Experience providing project briefings and status updates to senior executives.
