Jr Project Manager

Description
As a Project Manager at Westlake Flooring, you would be working for the 3rd largest Floorplan lender, that is technologically advanced and focused. This position is new and is being created to help with the successful execution and deployment of new projects which affect multiple departments within the growing company. This position would be responsible for building out the department and creating structure around IT deployments and process enhancements, with a heavy focus on automation. This individual would be responsible for managing all project deliverables and communication with stakeholders.
We are looking for someone with auto finance experience to drive, own, and execute on all aspects of large, multi-functional projects and software application enhancements. A highly motivated self-starter who is a great listener with strong communications skills and considers themselves a problem solver who is extremely organized and able to multitask. Someone who works well with others and can partner with various stakeholders and development teams to accomplish a common goal. Someone who is proactive at driving projects to the finish line and working through issues and bottlenecks as they arise.
Key Qualifications
  • 2+ years of financial services experience, auto finance preferred
  • 2+ years of proven experience planning and coordinating cross-functional projects and/or process enhancements from scope creation and requirement gathering to project delivery in tech, lending or servicing.
  • Pays attention to detail and can see the bigger picture.
  • Comfortable working with shifting priorities and can manage and delegate tasks with varying delivery dates.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders and business units on the status of timelines, and roadblocks.
  • Ability to communicate with Developers to ensure business requirements are followed and timelines are met.
  • Knowledge of SQL is desired but not required.
  • Self-motivated individual who is disciplined and requires minimal supervision.

Pay Rate:
  • Base salary range of $28.84 to $31.25 per hour plus a potential bonus of up to $15,000 per year depending on experience.
  • The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire and will be dependent on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to geographic location, skill set, experience, education, credentials, and licensure when applicable
